NO Flat Racing At All This Week - Chance to Push On With The Youngsters

So with no flat racing this week it has given Stan and Sara a good opportunity to push on with the new youngsters, getting some more ridden away and having first ventures on to the gallops and schooling rings with Major the pony doing a sterling job of teaching them as always. He is a stalwart of the yard, doing a superb job of instilling confidence and trust whilst leading the yearlings out on the roads, up to the downs, leading them up the gallops. Everyone always makes a big fuss of him on Open Days and he is a massive part of our team.
Stan did a quick day out to the last of the Yearling Sales at Tattersalls this week and he came back with another yearling, filling up they yard nicely. She is at the moment looking for an owner if anyone is interested give Stan a call he'd love to hear from you. She is a 2 year old filly by Mohaather (first season sire) and some of his yearlings are making phenomenal money, as were some foals that went through the ring this week. She is not a ridiculous price for sale and looks like a proper 2 year old type with a really nice page (info on website with photo).
Though been quiet this week we have a busy week ahead next week if all got a run five entered on Tuesday at Lingfield and Wolverhampton. Could throw up a lucky one possibly!
Very cold here today and so pleased for Newbury to have got the go ahead for today's Hennessey meeting.
