A Nice Winner at Chelmsford

A Nice Winner at Chelmsford

We have had a quiet week this week but had a nice ending to last week with Queues Likely winning at Chelmsford and capped off nicely as it was a GBB Bonus race with a £20k bonus, really puts the incentive back in for British breeders as they retain a part of bonus money won throughout the horses career and certainly puts a smile on the owners faces as is a substantial sum. We thought we might have a double and Go Your Own Way nearly pulled it off finishing 2nd, he had overcome the worst draw as well as Queues Likely so did well to finish where he did, he is a consistent horse who does put up a good performance on most outings and will go in again soon. Our one runner this week was Birkie Boy, he ran his usual tough race at Kempton and was only beaten a length in total finishing 3rd.

We have had a lot of new recruits in lately so been very busy breaking in at the minute, still got some due to come in so very busy away. Stan has been busy getting them sold and only a couple now looking for new owners. There are also a few shares remaining in The Moore The Merrier Syndicate for 2024. Information is on the Inns of Court Filly in the for sale section.

We have quite a few pencilled in next week and more than one would have a healthy E/W chance so hoping for a winner or too! It is a busy weekend of racing and some good racing at Cheltenham today, shame about the weather its pretty grey skies here in Lambourn but wishing all trainers and owners good luck.

Stan's tip is: Authorised Art E/W in the 2.20 at Cheltenham (interestingly the Secretary's tip would of been Angels Breath in this race so that could be a healthy F/C if it came up).

The Secretary's Tip is Polish E/W in the 2.55 at Cheltenham
