Turf Season Almost At its End

Looks like it could be a very wet end to the turf season and sad to see so many meetings called off including the AW track at Southwell who have been under water. Had a few runners this week they ran nice enough races considering some were up in the weights and grades, so they did well and all will be winning again through the winter. Stan might give some a few weeks break to freshen them up after a busy season.

Stan has sold his shares in The Wizard of Eye, Hieloray, & Easy Equation. They have now gone to Newmarket and we would like to wish the new trainer good luck with them, three nice horses and a lot of fun to be had with them. But in the upcoming yearling sales, hope to get a few replacements as they say.

Gutted to have lost the Newbury meeting today as we had a couple of runners there in the nursery and both wouldn't of been without a chance. We will have to look for something on the all weather now for them.

Good racing as always this weekend, be wet under foot on the turf for sure.
