When It Rains IT POURS

When It Rains IT POURS

Well what a wet, windy and dismal Friday it is today, absolutely gutted that Chepstow was abandoned due to being washed out literally. We had Hot Day and Fact or Fable in, both in great form and we were optimistic to how they would fare. Been a week of woes as on Tuesday we were eagerly watching Mirabello Bay at Wolverhampton on his return to the All Weather, he was absolutely cruising in behind when sadly the race had to be abandoned as Poor Dane O'Neill had taken a nasty fall coming out of the stalls and was still stricken on the track. We hope he is ok and wish him a speedy recovery.

We have been quiet this week with runners and the weather looks like it could still play havoc with the racing this weekend. We have Havana Goldrush entered on Monday at Windsor, hoping they have avoided the rain as it can come up very soft there. Lots of entries next week, really hoping could be a winner in there somewhere! Hopefully another two year old debutante too!

Lots of great racing this weekend, be hard to pick a winner all round and the ground may throw up some unexpected results!

The Blog photo this week is Sophiemorgan Johnstone one of our girls having her first spin in public in the charity race for Racing Welfare a couple of weeks ago at Newbury.
