Another Great Win with Fact or Fable at Bath
Good old Fact or Fable did it again winning at Bath on Thursday what a fantastic old servant he is proving to be for his owners Wendy and Stuart Jarrett. He has won six races for us now and been placed forty times from seventy seven lifetime runs, winning £50k in prize money, that really is some achievement. Alainn Tu was a little bit unlucky on Monday finishing 3rd she is a very honest and genuine filly who tries very hard, so can see her getting her head in front again sometime soon.
Only one runner this weekend; Queues Likely lines up at Lingfield tomorrow on the turf. Not many runners but never the less a very tricky competition, she is in great form and come out of her race well, so we are all hoping for a good performance wishing her owner Heather Pinniger the best of luck.
Some really good racing on offer this weekend, The Irish Derby on Sunday. Stan thinks that Covent Garden is a good E/W bet in that race. But equally good racing here so plenty to look forward too.
We had a great Royal Ascot tipping competition, never had such a close finish in years. The Judge won it by a whisker with 4 winners and 8 placed horses with the Trainer in second only beaten by one placed horse on 4 winners and 7 placed, The Secretary was in third only a winner behind them with 3 winners and 12 placed horses she could have stolen the crown with another winner. The Guest Tipsters were 4th having had some close misses over the week.
Stan's tip for Saturday is: Cuban Breeze in the 3.07 at Chester
The Secretary's tip is: Tiber Flow in the 12.55 at Newcastle
