Hoping for a GOOD RUN TODAY AT HAYDOCK

Hoping for a GOOD RUN TODAY AT HAYDOCK

Had a quiet week so far, though Alainn Tu ran another credible race on Tuesday finishing fast to take 3rd spot at Lingfield. She has really found her feet this year and is so reminiscent of her Dam Debutante's Ball who never knew how to run a bad race, she has really strengthened up and think a few more wins could be on the tally board by the end of the season.

Today we make the journey up to Haydock with The Wizard of Eye, he drops back a furlong but its a stiff 7f at Haydock so the trip shouldn't be a problem. He has ran well previously on good to soft ground and he is in great form so we are hoping for a very good run from him. There are only six runners, but he deserves to take his place in the line up. Re-united with James Doyle, they were very nearly successful last year at Goodwood so hoping the partnership can go on better today and be fantastic to see him take the top prize. Good luck to his owners, Alison Favell, Roy Humphrey & Oliver Humphrey we hope you wont' need it!

Lot's of horses entered next week including Miss American Pie who is returning after a break, she won first time out last year as a 2 year old so its not beyond her to score first time out. So make sure you watch her with interest at Wolverhampton on Monday. Birkie Boy holds a couple of entries so he could be a first time out two year old runner for us next week. He's not overly big but he does enjoy life and does all his work with plenty of gusto. Eyeros is also pencilled in next week, he has had a run already and has since been gelded. He is by leading first season 2 year old sire Soldiers Call who is racking up the winners daily! Be fab if he can add to the tally!!

Was a very sad day yesterday, when our lovely friend Caroline Instone laid her partner and great friend of ours Kieron Badger to rest. It was a lovely service and it was standing room only at the back as we all waved him a fond farewell. A great supporter of the sport he will surely be missed by many.

Some great racing today, hope to see some nice winners.
