Busy Day Friday
Had a busy old day yesterday with four runners at Bath and one at Newbury, was really nice to get a winner with Havana Goldrush doing it nicely and with luck will win some more. Was interesting to see how he's act on the grass and a soft surface as most of his runs have been on the all weather, but he relished conditions and really stuck his neck out where it mattered. Delighted with Alainn Tu who finished second, she showed promise at the back end of last year and was encouraging last time. It was her first attempt at 6f so very pleased with her and think she is still learning the game. Wholelotafun who lined up in Havana Goldrush's race was returning after a break and ran a pleasing race, will step him up in trip next time but hopefully be knocking on the door next time.
Go Your Own Way was having his first outing at Newbury, he was very green and slow away but kept on in what was a very hot race. He wasn't actually beaten that far for Newbury, will go well next time we hope with the experience under his belt.
Still got some very nice 2 year olds for sale. Going very nicely and quite a bit of class in the yard in the younger generation. Really looking forward to seeing them progress and develop throughout the year. The Wizard of Eye is in great form and looking ahead to where we go next with him. He is a magnificent horse, think could have a lot of fun this year with him.
Great racing this weekend so lots to look forward too and enjoy.
