Big Day for The Wizard of Eye today running in the All Weather Championship at Newcastle today AND Lambourn Open Day

A Big day today as Lambourn hosts its Annual Open  Day, the sun is shining so hoping our visitors have a lovely day. We also have an exciting day ahead with The Wizard of Eye going to Newcastle he runs in the All Weather 1m Championship race. The surface is not one he's run on before but he is in good form and hoping for a big run. We also run Uther Pendragon at Bath, he's in good form and you never know with him when its going to be his day so fingers crossed. Overall we are busy busy busy as they say.

The turf started last week and we had our first 2 year old runner at Doncaster in the Brocklesby. He ran ok but was very green and the ground was very sticky. He beat about 5 home but will come on loads and very happy with him. It will take a couple of weeks to get in to the swing of the turf, the weather has played havoc with the horses, swinging from cold to sunny, windy, frosty, rain. Some times we have had all four seasons in just one day! But when the weather evens all will be good. A great weekend of racing instore so lots to look forward too.
