Two New Arrivals - Looking for Owners :-)
We had two new arrivals this week a colt by Invincible Army & a colt by Soldiers Call, pics are on the website but will have more to follow, both have nice pedigrees (you can see on Horses For Sale Section). So anyone interested in getting involved in ownership give Stan a call. The ones we have had in have ALL SOLD QUICKLY so now is not the time to hang around!
Was brilliant to see Easy Equation get his head in front on Friday, he has really been running well recently and the victory was long awaited by his owner Roy Humphrey and we certainly feel over due. We ran him over hurdles yesterday for the first time, he was quite green, but enjoyed himself. There were only 4 runners in the end so he earned a few quid for the owner, he is a big horse and tough out. The Jockey said he thinks we will have a lot of fun with him in the future. Vaxholm had his first outing on Tuesday over hurdles at Warwick, he jumped really well but got tired at the end, he will strip fitter next time and he really enjoyed the experience so hoping for a good run next time.
Next week looks like its going to be a bit quiet on the runners front but could have a couple run that could run big races. Was disappointing to lose the Nottingham meeting due to some pretty horrendous heavy rain, which meant The Wizard of Eye missed out due to a waterlogged track. He is pencilled in on Saturday next week at Lingfield so he could go there in a Listed race or the end of the month at Kempton also in Listed competition.
Exciting racing this weekend with The Breeders Cup, Good luck to all of the European and GB runners, lets hope we get some winners over there. Great racing here now with the jump season getting in to full swing.
