Mirabello Bay Just Denied

Mirabello Bay Just Denied

We haven't had masses of runners this week but we have had some exciting finishes from the ones that did take part. Raintown a lovely big colt by Outstrip had his first outing on Monday at Kempton. He ran quite green early on which is to be expected as he is a lovely big raw horse. The penny dropped and he ran a lovely first race sure there will be plenty more to come from him in the future.

Havana Goldrush another horse in good consistent form ran at Kempton on Wednesday in what was a tough enough race. We were delighted with his run and he has turned in to a genuine tryer who is giving his owner Brian Galloway lots of fun.

Talking of lots of fun, Mirabello Bay put up another fine performance yesterday at Chelmsford, coming from the back he had to weave a tight path through runners. He went down fighting finishing a close second and giving his owner Caroline Instone another great finish, he's really found his feet now stepped up in trip and seems versatile on his choice of surface. He is a very happy horse in the yard and never ceases to raise a few smiles. Long may it continue.

Only one runner at the weekend, Easy Equation takes on 2 miles at Wolverhampton tomorrow night. He has run over just short of the distance before but looks like he will get every yard of the trip and again is another in consecutively good from recently. Be fantastic for his owners Roy & Oliver Humphrey and Alison Flavell, if they can get him in front on the line.

Stan been busy away again this week and we have a new arrival. A big strong looking filly by Massaat her half brother; Talamanka has won three and placed three times this year as a 2 year old so she could be anything??? Here's hoping! She is for sale and seeing her in the flesh, wow she is seriously impressive and ONE YOU REALLY NEED TO COME AND SEE! We still have some yearlings available if you want to get involved give Stan a call!

Quite a few entries next week so hoping to get one in the winners enclosure.

Great racing again this weekend and the old jumpers are getting in to swing.
