Fact or Fable - a TAD UNLUCKY on Wednesday

The horses are running well and Fact or Fable who is enjoying running at Chepstow was so unlucky to just be squeezed out of the main prize in the last stride YET AGAIN BEING BEATEN JUST A NOSTRIL!!! He really is in great nick at the moment and his day surely isn't far away. We also ran Havana Goldrush on Wednesday this time at Chelmsford. Liam Keniry really put him in the race making all and just got ran out of it in the last 50 yards, finishing 3rd but we are very pleased with the run as a three year old taking on older horses, it is a big ask. As the older horses have physical strength and maturity, which also reflects in their mental maturity so not easy for three year old to beat older horses.
Talking of which it will be the first time on Sunday that The Wizard of Eye lines up against older participants. Sadly due to the very tragic loss of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, in her honour all racing has been cancelled today and Saturday. The prime races from Doncaster will now all be run on Sunday. The Wizard lines up in the Group 2 Park Stakes at 3.20pm, we can only hope for the best of luck for him and hope his class shines through and he performs well. All being well he could then go to France at the beginning of October to run at The Arc meeting at Parislongchamp. Everything crossed here for him.
It is a very sad time for the UK and the country is in mourning for our great leader who was herself a great supporter of Horse Racing. A true patron of the sport she enjoyed a lifetime of wonderful horses. What an incredible lady serving 75 years on the throne the longest reining monarch and still serving her country till her dying day. We could take a lot of leafs out of her book and she will be greatly missed by many. Rest in Peace Ma'am you have served your country well.
With the cancellation of racing we turn our eyes to Sunday for our Weekly tips:
