Well the tipping competition is hotting up as we reach the final furlong and THE TRAINER is snapping at The Judges heels, with the current standings The Trainer could tie for the Crown with The Judge BUT ONLY IF ALL HIS SELECTIONS WON. However IF THE HORSES THEY BOTH HAVE PICKED DON'T WIN.... HE COULD BEAT HIM so all to play for. After four eventful days the standings are as follows:
1st place - The Judge on 8 winners and four 2nds, & a 4th 2nd place - The Trainer on 5 Winners, seven 2nds and two 3rds, 3rd place - The Secretary on 4 winners, one 2nd, one 3rd and one 4th, 4th place - Guest Tipsters on 2 winners,three seconds and five 3rds.
Looking forward to today and the last day of Royal Ascot, have to say the last 2 days have been very tricky, The Judge did extremely well first two days, but on Thursday Guest Tipster - The Sartorialist did very well, along with The Trainer who also had an EXCELLENT FRIDAY! Making it pretty interesting all round. Its been a great weeks racing and hope you all been following the blog as its tipped up lots of winners and placed horses.
Not had many runners this week bu Wonder Elzaam ran a really nice race on Thursday finishing 3rd and not beaten very far at Chelmsford. So hopefully he will hit the mark soon. We run a nice 2 year old colt today it is his first trip to the races but he is already well travelled being a french bred colt by Starspangledbanner owned by Franconson Partners we wish them the best of luck today. He will benefit greatly from the experience and should come on well for the run. Hoping he runs a nice race. Few in next week so be good to get a winner.
The weather has been so hot, but not complaining. We are forecast a lot of rain this weekend and the garden will be thankful for it.
Lots of great racing today so lots to watch.
