Three Runners Line Up At Bath Today Hoping for Some Nice runs

Hoping for some nice runs today from our three runners at Bath. The first runner Alainn Tu (Beautiful You in Gaelic) is from a family we know well as we trained her dam to Black Type success. Debutante's Ball was a good filly for us and owners Wendy & Stuart Jarrett, so when Stan saw her daughter it was hard for the Jarretts and Stan to turn her down. She is  a nice big filly who will definitely benefit from the run. So interesting to see how she fares today at their local course. We also run Uther Pendragon he is also owned by The Jarretts who has fared well under a lady pilot before, Georgia Dobie takes a valuable 3lb off him and we think she will suit him so could be his day today! Third runner of the day is Easy Equation also partnered by Georgie, he ran well for her at Yarmouth a couple of runs ago and that weight claim might stand him in good stead today so fingers crossed.

We were delighted with El Habeeb's performance in the Derby on Saturday, he was really picking up at the latter stages of the race and owner and trainer were very happy with his performance. Already Gone ran on Thursday and travelled sweetly through the race. It was a drop back in trip for him so will step him up next time. His owner Kieron is a bit under the weather at the moment so we are wishing him a speedy recovery.

Three new inmates on their way in today from Ireland. All two year olds they are a bay colt by Elzaam out of a Paco Boy mare who has a lot of black type in her pedigree. A grey colt by Outstrip out of a Whipper Mare who herself has  lot of black type, she has had 2 winners from 2 runners so he could be nice, certainly looks it on paper and in his photos. The third is a bay filly also by Elzaam out of a Dandy Man Mare who was a winner at 2 and holds her own Black Type and is 2 winners from 3 foals so hoping she will make it 3 from 4! Exciting to have some new horses in the yard. Papas Girl is going off to stud so we wish her a happy retirement, she is a lovely big filly and could produce some nice offspring for her new connections we hope.

Next week all being well we run The Wizard of Eye at Ascot on Thursday in the Hampton Court Stakes and on the Friday we run Miss American Pie in the Albany. So exciting but busy week ahead.

Fantastic racing, so many places to look for a winner!
