First Time Ever Runner in THE EPSOM DERBY

First Time Ever Runner in THE EPSOM DERBY

Think everyones nerves are a big jangled this week with one of the biggest events on the Racing Calendar taking place tomorrow and we have a first time ever runner in the big race; The Epsom Derby. With El Habeeb, first time runner in the race also, for his owner Mohamed Khalid Abdulrahim who not only bred him but owns the stallion and mare too. He is a very nice horse and Stan said should get his fair share of Black Type too, we hope he runs a big race and wishing all the luck in the world to his owner and connections tomorrow.

Not been too busy this week with runners, Already Gone ran a nice enough race at Leicester earlier in the week and Easy Equation ran a bit below par at Nottingham. He may well return to Yarmouth next Wednesday, which is where he ran well a couple of runs back so a return there could prove well for him. We ran Kessaar Power today at Epsom in the Woodcote, he was far from disgraced and showed up quite nicely early on. Definitely think there will be some races to be won with him, he has a lovely temperament and does try hard. Tomorrow we also run Papas Girl at Lingfield, she is in very good form and could go close we hope. Vaxholm is pencilled in on Monday, he will strip fitter where ever he goes to so one to look forward to some time soon.

Quite a few pencilled in next week so could be a cheeky winner in there we hope. Great racing as you would expect tomorrow including of course the big Epsom meeting.

Stans tip is: Blue Trail E/W in the 2.00 at Epsom
