Horse continue in Good Form

Horse continue in Good Form

The runners this week did well, Uther Pendragon finished 3rd at Bath, keeps getting placed but missing out on the elusive winners enclosure. Wonder Elmossman ran a blinder on the all weather at Lingfield, he was very unlucky to meet a big improver, but still delighted with his run as they were both well clear of the horse in 3rd, he remains in good nick and is going the right way. Vlad The Impaler surprised us with a very good run at Kempton, a nice return to action after his winter break, finishing 4th and only beaten a couple of lengths. Really nice run for a big horse who will strip a lot fitter for the run. We stepped Easy Equation up in trip but Stan didn't think he stayed and Birkie Girl who ran at Bath didn't enjoy the very fast ground. The Wizard of Eye was far from disgraced in the 2000 Guineas, he was only beaten 8 1/2 lengths and was taking on the best in world. Will be looking for a nice race for him.

One runner today; Havana Goldrush has his first run on the turf at Ascot today, if he translates his all weather form to the grass, he could run a very big race at long odds. We have had some more newcomers in from the sales and being breeze up horses they are literally ready to go!  A couple of the new horses are pencilled in next week and hope they do well for us. Got quite a few runners entered next week so we are hoping THERE IS A WINNER IN THERE SOMEWHERE!!

Some fine racing at the weekend.

Stans tip is: Stawberri in the 3.30 at Ascot

The Secretarys tip is: Stowell in the 2.20 at Ascot (in form having tipped winners in 3 out of the last 4 weeks and last weeks was 12-1)
