Looking Forward to Tomorrow, Start of The Turf
Really looking forward to tomorrow and the start of the Turf season here at Doncaster, two great days of racing and the first 2 year old race so be interesting to see what wins that.
We don't have a runner Saturday, but we run Wonder Elzaam on Sunday at Doncaster. Could be anyone's race as all horses are of a similar calibre but we hope he runs well. He is in good form and has solid fom from his runs in Bahrain over the winter so fingers crossed.
Got a few entered next week including what might be our first 2 year old runner at Kempton, a nice filly by Camacho, she is called Miss American Pie. Goes nicely at home and will improve for her first run. Next week we have a couple coming back after breaks, Ruith Le Tu and Wonder Elmossman, both have grown and strengthened over the winter and could run ok.
The warm weather this week has been very welcome and the horses have enjoyed getting some sun on their backs, need a bit more as some hanging on to their coats but the forecast is going in to minus figures next week! Lets hope the weather man has it wrong!
Really great racing both here and in Dubai at the weekend, the 2.10 at Meydan is an interesting race with some running in it that ran in The Wizard of Eye's race in Saudi last time (Saudi Derby) some finished in front of us some behind so interesting to see how the form line works out. He is hopefully running in the The Greenham at Newbury on 16 April so we will be watching avidly.
Stan's tip is: Johan E/W in the 3.35 at Doncaster
The Secretary's tip is: Withering E/W in the 2.10 at Meydan
