Saudi Cup - What An Experience

All back safe and sound from globe trotter Stans amazing trip to the Bahrain Turf Series followed up with The Saudi Cup meeting with our runner The Wizard of Eye. What a fantastic experience was had by all who were fortunate enough to go over there. The Wizard ran a great race in the Saudi Derby, sadly just out of the money which paid to 6th and we finished 7th. Stan, Sara and the owners said they were looked after exceptionally well and was of course nice to get a bit of Sun. He has got some nice entries pencilled in, so now just deliberating on where we go next with him. We entered him this week in the UK 2000 Guineas and he also holds entries in the German 2000 & The Irish 2000.

Another horse that is on the improve is Havana Goldrush he is stepping up to the mark now with a great run at Kempton on Wednesday night in a hot Class 2 conditions race, he finished 4th but was only beaten 2 1/4 lengths, think he is one you should all be keeping your eye on. We also have entered him in the German 2000 Guineas.

We have got a quiet week ahead with runners, but we are hoping that one or two might get their heads in front on the winning line! Before you know it Cheltenham will be upon us and Stan will be taking his place on the East Garston Pre Cheltenham panel, so if you can get there always worth a jaunt as it tips up plenty of winners. Jot it in your diary for Friday night and join us for a pint and some pundits!
