Nice Winner At Southwell

A nice winner this week with Papas Girl at Southwell, had quite a good day with the gallant Uther Pendragon running a great race finishing 2nd. Papas Girl is a big filly who was promising as a 2 year old but lost her way a little, so  was really good to see her win. Hopefully she will keep progressing. 

Christmas is all but here upon us, seems to have come around quickly this year. We could have some runners on Wednesday, been very hard to find Fact or Fable a race as the ballot has been constantly against him. Likely we will be a bit quiet for a few weeks after that.

Its good now all the bad press is over, Stan felt very strongly about it and didn't agree with how a lot of it was handled, he felt they should have been sat down, sorted it out and frankly grown up a bit, would have done the job just as well! Its what they had to do anyway, but as the saying goes whats done is done.

We have Wonder Elzaam and Magical Wish still out in Bahrain, they are doing very well and Stan and Sara looking forward to their next runs on 31st December and 7th January. The facilities are great and they are looking after everyone well. Plus the racing is very good there, no easy pickings as they say.

Some really great racing this weekend so hope you all get some winners in.
