A Winner At Wolves

A Winner At Wolves

Was nice to get a first winner for owners Paul Kwok and Angel Li with Wonder Elzaam at Wolverhampton on Monday (winning photo is on the blog). He is a nice horse and he really stuck his head out to the line to steal the race in the last stride. All being well he will have a winter campaign at Bahrain in their International Turf Series.

The Breeders Cup races were good last night, the last race was a bit controversial, but Stan thinks common sense prevailed as the stall handlers and Jockey William Buick did a great job to save the horse from being injured, lets hope the stalls handler is ok. The stalls handlers are sometimes the forgotten heroes of racing, so to speak. Big races at the Breeders Cup Meeting tonight, Vin De Garde in the 10.20 would be Stan's pick.

We have some runners next week and hopefully we might get another winner or two!!!! Another new inmate this week is a lovely looking filly by Footstepsinthesand. She looks a really nice type strong and well boned, lets hope she's lucky for her owner breeders Pineapple Stud.

Some good racing on UK soil too this weekend, a weekend off for Stan and Sara as we don't have any runners this weekend but plenty on the cards next week.

Stans tip is: Via Sistina in the 12.55 at Doncaster.

The Secretary's tip is Cut The Mustard E/W in the 2.25 at Wincanton
