Almost Too Hot To Trot!!!!

Well we have been melting under the very hot sun this week, not really pleasant for anyone so thankfully some rain is forecast and our grass and plants will be grateful along with the racecourses! We shouldn't complain though it could be worse.

Been a bit quiet this week on the runners front with Vaxholm running another solid race at Lingfield on Wednesday, he finished 4th and was probably our best run this week. It has taken a while but he seems to be getting his act together now and probably will need a mile + going forward.

We have got a quiet-ish week next week but hope to have one or two at Glorious Goodwood all being well. That is something to look forward too along with the Galway Festival so plenty of opportunities. 

Just to give you an idea of the kind of homes are ex race horses go to, the horse in the photo is Birkie Queen, now called HRH Birkie Queen and complete with Tiara. Thoroughbreds are wonderful horses think this fantastic photo sums them up completely.
