The Wizard of Eye (photo on the blog this week) certainly TOOK THE EYE in a sizzling performance, showing us all SOME MAGIC at Newbury on Thursday evening, he really did put up a smart performance winning by 3 1/2 lengths, leaving the field strung out behind him. On only his second start, it was more impressive as he is a big raw horse with plenty more improvement in him. We also ran Ruith Le Tu in that race, the ground had gone very sticky and though he travelled sweetly early on the ground was his undoing when they quickened away, don't let that put you off him, he is a lovely horse and will be sure to win some races later on and with ground in his favour.
We ran Wholelotafun at Bath, he finished really well to snatch 3rd on the line, he ran nicely he's not overly big but he's got a big heart and sometimes that's all they need! Couple of other runners this week ran a bit below par, but that is how it goes as they say.
So many good races this weekend, be hard to know what to put your money on, hope you all have a good weekends racing!
