Looking forward to Royal Ascot

We are hitting the ground running as they say but the horses are just coming up a tad short with three 2nds this week two of which were beaten in photo finishes. So hopefully our luck will be changing soon, maybe tonight???!!! We run two tonight at Goodwood who could both run a big race in the 7.35 race, Roystan Girl was 3rd last time out at Brighton the winner has since won a listed race, we also ran Divining in that race (her first run) and she will have improved a lot for the run so hope both can put in a nice show this evening.

Wholelotafun ran yesterday at Newbury in a hot little handicap he looked like he might of nicked it but the favourite came out of the pack with a storming run, his owners also own Fact or Fable who was only beaten a whisker IN BOTH HIS RACES this week. Their owner Wendy Jarret has a touch of 2nd'itis we think. The main thing is though that all the horses are in great form so lets hope it continues and gets some in to the winners enclosure. Got a couple of runners at Bath on Saturday be great if one of them or one of tonight's could get their heads in front.

Did you watch the Derby and the Oaks? Stan thought they were both strange races to watch though the winners of both were very impressive as was the French Derby winner.

Racing this weekend is like the weather....'hot' though we can't complain after the appalling weather we had in May. Don't forget to look out for our Royal Ascot Tipsters we will do the usual tipping competition with a different guest tipster daily and the usual suspects joining them with Ascot Tips posted up by 1pm the day before racing. We always have a lot of fun, we always get some big winners, so lets hope this year we get plenty of them.

Stans tip is Baashir E/W in the 2.35 at York

The Secretarys tip is Turanga Leela E/W in the 2.10 at Chester
