A Great Week of Racing With Chester Festival Underway
Its been another great week of racing with some strange old results popping up and the ground being different everywhere, could be the answer to that though sure the punters who had the big winners will be delighted. Was a great finish last weekend to both Guineas races with a 54 year old and a 50 year old winning them. Two great rides and two superb training performances. Stan rode a winner for Mr Bolger on the flat back in the day. It was in the Suncroft Nursery a 2yo called Whistling Tara, 7 stone 2 with blinkers and breastplate. That was in the day that you had to weigh out with them, he said it would cause him some problems to do that weight nowadays!!!!
Pleased with our horses, the runners last week ran well really pleased with Wholelotafun who ran at Goodwood on Saturday finishing 4th after a lay off he has won at the track previously under Laura Coughlan and handles it well.
Also lining up was Mr Shady who ran well over 2m on the flat at Goodwood, he finished 4th so we were all pleased though not 100% sure he got the trip Then on Monday at Bath we ran Uther Pendragon finishing 3rd, Madame Mango ran a nice first time out race finishing 5th (she has come out of the race well so hoping for nice run next time) and Friendly Princess was not beaten far in a tight handicap so happy away with them.
As to be expected some great racing at the weekend.
