First 2 Year Old runner in Ireland At The Curragh On Sunday

So think we can safely say that the FLAT TURF SEASON IS ABOUT TO BE OFF AND RUNNING AS THE FIRST 2 YEAR OLDS OF THE SEASON line up at The Curragh tomorrow. Very excited to see what they have entered and how they will fare? Good luck to them all we will be following avidly. We have a couple of two year olds that we hope will be early types. The weather here is still pretty glum, cold or wet or overcast and we would really welcome some sunshine for some of them, Get some sun on their backs which they love and will enable them to let go of what remains of their winter coats.

Hope you all had an enjoyable Cheltenham, the last day sure through up some hard races to predict. The end competition is as follows:

DAY FOUR OF CHELTENHAM RESULTS & FINAL POSITIONS

1st - The Judge ( day four - 2 2nds 1 3rd ) OVERALL TOTAL: 8 winners, 9 2nd's, 2 3rd

2nd - The Secretary  ( 1 2nd, 1 3rd ) OVERALL TOTAL: 5 winners, 3 2nds, 6 3rds, 1 4th

3rd - The Guest Tipsters ( day three - 1 winner, 1 2nd, 1 3rd) OVERALL TOTAL: 5 winners, 4 2nds, 3 3rds, 1 4th, 1 5th

4th - The Trainer ( day three - 2 3rds ) OVERALL TOTAL: 3 winners, 2 2nds, 5 3rds, 1 5th

SPECIAL SECRET GUEST TIPSTER - One to watch out for next year is Anthony Tory - Famous pilot of Docklands Express, we had him on as a special guest and did he give you a run for your money tipping up no less that 4 2nds and a 3rd (HIS FIRST HORSE PLACED WAS PETITE MOUCHIR placed 2nd at 33-1).

Overall a really interesting meeting with some big priced winners (The Sartorialist aka Kieron Badger landing the biggest priced winner with Sky Pirate at 16-1) but the Secretary, the trainer and special guest tipster all landed a 33-1 placed horse. Hope you followed and hope you had some fun.

We have been very quiet on runners front and are keying up for the start of turf here. Hoping to have a few runners then. Now the ground has dried out a bit we hope to find a nice race for Mr Shady over the hurdles. Whatever your up to this weekend hope you have a good one and stay safe and be lucky.

The Secretarys tip is: Mint Condition E/W in the 3.00 at Uttoxeter
