Wet, Wild and Very Windy

Wet, Wild and Very Windy

Well its been a bit of a 'washout' this week with stormy skies, lots of rain and some pretty windy conditions. We had one day where the Sun peeped through and lifted your spirits for a very short time! We had a couple of runners this week, Mr Shady went to Hereford, but though was listed as soft he couldn't go on it as was very sticky underfoot. We ran Fact or Fable earlier in the week he ran ok finishing 4th along with Uther Pendragon who ran today also finishing 4th.  We decided to run Fact or Fable again tomorrow but the draw has done us no favours, hopefully he should still run his race.

Some very good racing at the weekend with the big Newbury meeting being rescheduled for Sunday all being well. The Betfair hurdle is the big handicap, Stan won it as a Jockey in 1987 on Neblin, backed in from 66-1 to 8-1, the good old days as they say!!!!! Stan fancies Fred E/W in that race; the 3.35 at Newbury, a big price at 50-1 he could give you a good run for your money, so lets hope he runs well!

The cheeky monkey in the photo this week is Brockagh Cailin, she has been on rest period and is just returning to work. Daniels getting stuck in to removing some of her thick winter coat, I think she likes it do you!

Stans tip is Mercurist in the 12.50 at Lingfield.

The Secretary if sticking with her winner from Lingfield a couple of weeks ago, at a big price her tip is Bangkok E/W in the 5.40 at Riyadh 25-1 could be a good price
