On the whole...... Pleased with our runners this week
We are very pleased with the way the horses have run this week though just missing out on an elusive winner! Stan is really pleased with the 2 year olds some who are already making good impressions on the gallops. Could be some nice ones this year.
Woodview ran a good race on Monday following up on his last run, he might not quite have just seen out the extra trip but he is surely knocking on the door as they say. Papas Girl lined up at Kempton on Wednesday on the return from a break. She is a lovely big filly by Mehmas, there is surely a race to be won with her at some point so we hope to see her in the winners enclosure soon. Uther Pendragon ALMOST made it beaten a neck at Lingfield today, he was taking a step down in grade, but was carrying a hefty 10 stone and think he might of thought he'd done enough to win with his ears pricked, he's a wily old fox and no matter what Liam Keniry threw at him he thought he'd done enough! Watch that space as he is in very good form at the moment.
A few of they 2 year olds now have new owners but there are still a few for sale on the website including some that we think are rather nice. Why not take a look and give Stan a call if any take your eye? Its Goffs 2 year old sale coming up, all bidding is now being done online, so if one takes your fancy and you want to try ownership let Stan know!
Would be really good to get a winner, Bomb Squad and Easy Equation are both in great form and line up at Kempton and Lingfield respectively tomorrow. Don't know if got any voice left after Uther Pendragon's close call today but sure hope we will be shouting from the rooftops. Fingers crossed and all that. Some of the jump racing today horses looked all but done in, the ground is very very wet and the results were showing.
Great racing tomorrow.
Stans tip is: Dostal Phil in the 4.05 at Sandown
The Secretary's tip is: Bangkok in the 1.45 at Lingfield
