Fact or Fable had his first run over hurdles today, finishing 5th and didn't have an altogether smooth first experience, being a bit unlucky at some of the hurdles. One fell in front of him at the second, and the loose horse then hassled him at a couple of jumps down the back. But overall a really pleasing introduction for him.
Bomb Squad ran a bit too free and keen at Kempton, drawn two wasn't really in his favour, he is a better horse held up and coming off the pace. He could go to Wolverhampton a week Saturday (14th) think that course will suit him better too.
Breeders Cup this weekend, Aiden O'Brien has a strong list of charges again. Stan thinks the french 2 year old; Sealiway will go close on the turf tonight at 8.10pm, would like to see Miss Amulet do well in the 9.30 for Ken Condon, not an expensive horse but still in the Breeders Cup so well done to all.
Jumping to the fore now though there will be some really good maidens come out on the flat now. Papas Dream ran this week first time out at Kempton, he ran a lovely race in what we think will turn out to be really decent company. It was a very hot maiden on paper and he put up a bold show finishing 6th, he will make in to a lovely horse. End of the turf season on the flat at Doncaster tomorrow.
Stans tip is Bollin Joan E/W in the 3.15 at Doncaster.
The Secretary's tip is Kaleidoscopic in the 2.05 race at Doncaster E/W
