Busy Sunday

A busy Sunday is planned with four runners at Bath, so hopefully some nice runs in there. The ground will be better than it has been recently for Birkie Queen, Brown Eyes Blue is returning after a break. Uther Pendragon loves it at Bath and Laura Coughlan has been coming in to ride him at home and takes the ride for the first time he's in good form so not without a chance. Sparrow Hawk is teamed up with our apprentice Sophie Reed for the first time she rides the filly at home, so first time cheekpieces hopefully will sharpen her up a bit. Sophie has a ride at Doncaster today in an Arab race, a high profile meeting we hope she does ok and wish her and her connections well.

The Yearling sales have been in full flow now that they are under way, the prices have been holding up well considereing the current financial climate in this country at the moment. We have seven in so far, 4 colts and three fillies; a couple of colts by Estidhkaar, a Cotai Glory colt, a Fast Company colt, the fillies are by Aclaim, Mehmas and Kodiac. So getting a nice mix.

If anyone is interested give Stan a call, shares are available and with more sales coming up, could be a buyers market. Stan is happy to go and look at any at the sales for you if you are interested in any give him a call.

What a great weekend's racing to look forward to in the UK and Ireland, it is Champions weekend over there and the St Leger meeting at Doncaster here in the UK. Wishing very good luck to Lambourn Trainers, Let's hope one wins the classic.
