Fancy Owning a Racehorse?

A very busy week with four new inmates on their way to Berkely House Stables, they are a colt by Captain Gerrard, one by Indesatchel, two fillies by Kodiac and Strategic Pricne, all racey looking types, pics will be on the webiste in the middle of next week, so if you have ever fancied having a share in on, don't be afraid to pick up the phone and ring! All their pics will be up on the website next week and pedigrees up today.

Sara's syndicate The Petticoat Government is having a good spell, Three 2nd's  in ten days isn't bad and one of them was at Maisons Lafitte in France, they have had a Royal Ascot runner as well so not bad for your first season and a good one so far! They will be opening up the syndicate to new members again next year when they have put their new horse in, so all of you ladies who love your racing  watch this space details will be up soon.

Was actually a shame that poor old Gilded Lace ran in to an improving horse, she ran a great race in France, just ran in to one to good. She could go back again in a couple of weeks, she is in great nick and would be nice to win with her soon.

Sad news today about Toby Balding passing he was a true legend of the turf and a real character. I won the Tote Gold Trophy on Neblin for him. I remember getting beat on one at Ludlow for a syndicate and coming in expecting a real bollocking and in front of about 25 members, he said 'Well Stanley, thats another fine mess you got me into' Laural & Hardy style. But I unfortunately had to get a lift back with him and got my bollocking on the way home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Good racing this weekend:

Stan's tip is Bronze Angel E/W in the 3.50 at Newmarket.
